Hercules 3D Prophet II GTS 64MB (8/9) Antialiasing Under OpenGL there are only two settings for antialiasing - ON or OFF. That should guarantee us comparable results because all test use the same settings. Again let me mention that the 64MB card is still a bit too fast at 386MHz, but couldn't be slowed to 366MHz.
The results with antialiasing turned off.
Performance drops drastically when antialiasing is turned on. The 64MB version's lead can be attributed mostly to the higher memory clockspeed. There is a distinct difference in scores at 1024. Here we see the extra memory have a noticeable impact for the first time. I won't comment on the fact that it would probably have been fairer to overclock the 32MB card's memory a bit |
