GeForce 3 - 7 way shootout (21/42) - Benchmarks - |
Evolva - DirectX 7 - T&L - INTEL PENTIUM 4 1500MHz Evolva is one of the pioneer games from the beginning of the D3D T&L era. In 16Bit color, the GeForce 2 Ultra can command a sizable lead at all resolutions. It is followed by a tightly packed field of GF3 cards and then, very closely behind, the GeForce 2 PRO. The GTS comes in last, but still offers decent results. In 32Bit color, the picture changes dramatically. At 1024x768x32, the different chips are about 20fps apart. The picture stays the same with increasing resolution, although the distance between the chips decreases due to the higher memory traffic. Overall, its safe to say that a GF3 is twice as fast as a GTS at any given setting.
