As expected, the RADEON VE isn't breaking any records here. On top of that, we see the typical RADEON 16Bit weakness.
The situation isn't quite as dramatic under 32Bit. While the card still places behind the GeForce 2 MX, MX 400 and the Kyro II, their lead isn't as pronounced as it was in 16Bit. The VE is able to offer almost twice the framerate of the G450 at 1024x768.
