Creative 3D Blaster GeForce 2 MX (10/10) I can't really recommend this card to anyone wholeheartedly, as, compared to a standard MX, the card seems to offer only disadvantages. The slower memory limits its performance and the nonexistant cooling makes it completely uninteresting for overclockers. I really can't understand why Creative decided to cut costs on something as inexpensive as a heatsink. Some manufatcurers, like Leadtek, even ship their MX cards with a fan! If you're looking for an inexpensive card for a game now and then, then the 3D Blaster MX is a pretty good deal. If you have the choice, I would still recommend choosing a card with 128bit SDRAM and a heatsink, since it's only slightly more expensive. Creative is just trying to save money in the wrong place here. Lars "Borsti" Weinand - RIVA Station 2001Related links: Translation by Benjamin Kraft. Rating
