ELSA Erazor X
The ELSA Erazor X is a very compact card which is dominated by a massive heatsink with a flat fan on it. 4 5,5ns SDRAM chips are placed around it. 2 voltage regulators are also placed on the frontside of the card. ELSA also offers an optional digital flat-panel connector for the card. On the backside is room for more memory variant of the card. The card is very well manufactured.
Software ELSA bundles the retail card with Corel Draw 7 and Photo Paint 7 Selected Edition and the full version of the game Drakan. Also included is the video-editing software MainActor V3. But the card does´nt have Video IN or OUT so the use of it is very limited. A cd full of game demos is also included with the card. Additional software is the DVD Player ELSA Movie. Drivers
ELSA also creates its own tweak menus. You can set refresh rates in 1Hz steps and you can also set every custom resolution you want. A very special software is ELSA ChipGuard. The ELSA solution is not as complex as the ASUS hardware monitor cause it only alows to check if the chip reaches a critical temperature. You can´t read the temperature with a tool or set anything else. There´s simply a green icon in the taskbar that shows that the temperature is OK. ELSA included an overclocking tool in the drivers which allows to set pretty high clockspeeds. It´s planed to support the ELSA Revelator 3D shutter glasses with Direct 3D and OpenGL.
