Guillemot 3D Prophet

The Guillemot 3D Prophet is based on the NVIDIA reference design (There is rumor out there that the reference design was made by Creative). The card has the same layout than the Creative Annihilator and ASUS V6600 (pure not the Deluxe that was tested here). The 32MB are splittet into 16 x 5ns SDRAM modules which are a bit faster than the ELSA and ASUS memory chips (5,5ns). But the card runs with the same clockrate than the other GeFOrce cards: 120/166MHz. The GeForce chip of this prototype card is equipped with a powerfull fan The final cards use another fan. A Brooktree Bt-869KRF is responsible for TV-Out.

Software

There is not much software inlcuded with the card. Only drivers and some NVIDIA and Game demos. The Xing DVD player is responsible for DVD playback.

Drivers

Information	Tweaks	Overclocking	TV-Out

Guillemot uses the standard NVIDIA reference drivers for the Prophet and only changes the logo. The drivers all important settings like 3D tweaks and overclocking. But the TV Out options are very limited. There´s no option for image size or overlay controll. Dual view is not possible. There´s all you need but not much comfort at all. A option for overclocking is included for clock freaks.
