Benchmarks

Pentium III 500MHz

The system is exact the same as before. Only the CPU is different. Instead of the Coppermine I now use a standard PIII 500 MHz.

I also included TNT and TNT2 results in the tables. These cards ran at v2.08 drivers which are the fastest drivers available. Pentium III 700 runs with these cards are not very usefull because if someone can effort the money for such a fast CPU it should be no problem to pay some bucks for a fast 3D card....

GLQuake 1 Demo1

Here you can see how far away we are from a TNT today. But TNT2 Ultra is also a lot slower here than GeForce.

Quake3 v1.09 Demo1

As before only very small differences of the GeForce cards. TNT is far away. But the difference to TNT2 Ultra gets smaller at higher resolutions. But it canīt overtake the GeForce.

Quake3 v1.09 Demo2

Almost the same results as before. The TNT does only have 16MB. Thatīs why there are no results at High 1280. It doesīnt have enough memory to run games at that resolutions.

Incoming

TNT2 Ultra performs very well until 1024@32. TNT plays in its own little world...

Drakan

As with P3 700, Drakan seems to be very CPU loaded. Almost no differences between TNT2 and GeForce. TNT drops very strong. It canīt reach the 25FPS border.
