Test: Leadtek WinFast GeForce 2 PRO (14/14)

Conclusion

The WinFast GeForce2 PRO makes a very strong showing indeed in this test. Features that deserve a positive note are the excellent cooling, the driver tools and the extraordinary overclockability. The "lowlights" are the practically unusable TV-Out (Overscan, NTSC only) and the outdated overclocking tools.

If you're looking for "Ultra-like" performance but want to spend the extra bucks for these flagships, then this card is may definitely be the choice for you. Nonetheless, at almost DM 1000.- the PRO is still a far cry from being a bargain! It can only pull ahead of the 32MB GTS card in high resolutions. If you're looking at a bigger upgrade of your system and are planning to replace CPU, mainboard and memory as well, you should probably go with a standard GTS at half the price and invest the money you saved into more or better memory or a faster CPU. If money isn't an issue or your last name is Rockefeller, then you'll be more than happy with this card.

In any case, the card's performance was exceptional and has earned it the RIVA Station Hardcore Award!
