Synetic's MBTR is a pretty CPU-intensive game. Therefore the graphics cards are not yet fillrate limited at lower resolutions. Of note: The V5's performance in comparison to the MX and the RADEON. Again, the Ultra and the WinFast Pro take the lead.
Under 32bit, fillrate is king, as they say. While the 32MB GTS throws in the towel at 1280x1024, the 64MB cards and the RADEON go all the way to 1600x1200-32. V5 and others have problems here. The performance of the Ultra and the PRO is still quite impressive. |
