GeForce2 MX Shootout (8/11) Benchmarks
Quake3 Quake3 – it is the standard by which every chip’s OpenGL performance is measured.
Using 16bit color, we see the same pattern, with the faster MX cards aheads of the TNT2 Ultra. Within the MX group, we get the same ranking as before: Hercules leading ELSA and ASUS. Under 32bit color, the MX's lead over the TNT2 Ultra shrinks noticeably. This is a direct result of the slow SDRAM memory. The GeForce2 is definitely in a league of its own, outclassing all other cards. |
