First Test: ATI RADEON R7500  (3/14)

Testsystem

The RADEON was tested on an AMD Athlon 1333 System in Windows98SE. The mainboard is powered by AMD’s 760 chipset. Although Windows XP is not yet officially supported by the current drivers, ATi has promised a new release within the next couple of days. Therefor, testing in Window 2000 and XP will follow in a later article. The ATi sample board is a so-called A12 sample. This is equivalent to final silicon as it will be found on the retail boards. Nonetheless, please keep in mind that my sample was not a final card.
